We’ve received several questions about the dates displayed on the tribute image on the homepage, particularly regarding the years 1959-2024. Some have mistakenly assumed that John passed away in 2025, when the news was first announced. To clarify: John passed away in late December 2024, but the announcement wasn’t made until 2025. As a result, some media outlets have incorrectly reported his passing as occurring in January 2025, which is not accurate.

Please disregard any rumours circulating about tributes, funerals, or memorial services. The only official and accurate information regarding these matters will come from this website and John’s official social media channels (linked from this website).
